I'm Jason, a product designer working remotely from Austin, Texas. Most recently, I was Lead Designer at Chime working on the growth team.

I’ve been designing digital experiences for over 10 years across a variety of industries. I find I'm doing my best work I'm solving tough problems. I use a mix of meaningful research, clever technology and clean design. I've helped design solutions and led efforts at Chime, UserTesting, Sharecare, Bakkt and Swarm Agency (now SCS).

Outside of the job, I've found I enjoy helping others navigate life as a product designer. I've been coaching others as a pseudo-side gig for the last 5 years.

Before my career in design, I was a on the track to medical school with a keen interest in human psychology. After finishing undergrad (..and soul searching) in 2009, I made the jump over to design and haven't looked back.

I'm an appreciator of long trips and an amazing meal, so I value a healthy work-life balance. When I'm not in front of a screen, you can find me exploring all Austin has to offer with my wife and toddler. And if you get to talking to me, you'll realize how avid of a sports fan I am — particularly with my alma mater.
